When we say “college touring made simple,” we truly mean it. Our founder, Lawrence Frett, shared a valuable lesson with his oldest son, who is now a college student: “Work hard to maintain a high GPA so that every college in the world remains an option.” His son, a national honor student and recipient of the Principal Scholar Award, took this advice to heart. As a result, postcards from various colleges began arriving, and they started touring campuses across the country.
However, there were instances when they arrived at a college and his son would say, “This isn’t it; I don’t like the buildings or the campus.” The online images had given a different impression. After investing time and money, Lawrence realized there should be a better way for students, parents, and counselors to navigate this process without the hassle of travel expenses. This insight led to the creation of College Match Pros, an educational technology company dedicated to simplifying college touring.
With our innovative VR headsets, students can experience college tours without leaving their city—unless they choose to do so afterward. What began as a simple idea has now expanded to middle and high schools across the country, utilizing our college VR tour headsets.
