In-School Field Trips
CMP hosts in-school field trips for schools wanting us to facilitate college tours at their location. We travel anywhere, whether you're in New York or Europe, and will come to facilitate tours for up to a week within your school, bringing an exciting college tour event to your organization. Loaner Program
CMP has a loaner program where we loan up to 10 of our college VR tour headsets to schools for a specified period. We train and teach the administrators, counselors, or staff how to operate the VR headsets and retain data from their students. This option is ideal for mid to larger schools or those wanting to host their own tours, allowing parents to tour at their convenience. Contact us for more information.
Purchase
Schools have the option to purchase college tour VR headsets directly from us and license them each year. Each college tour VR headset comes with a tablet for student registration, enabling data collection about student interests. A licensing fee is associated with each VR headset for each year. How long is each college tour in the VR headset?
Our tours are condensed to fit within 5-7 minutes for each campus experience, allowing students to explore more colleges within a specific timeframe.
How long is each college campus tour session for students?
The duration of our time at a school is based on the number of students each school is looking to serve. In most cases, we are at a school for 5-6 hours, conducting rotational sessions to ensure that all students have the opportunity to participate.
With the VR loaner program, how long can we keep the VRs?
We offer different loan timeframes at various price points. Please contact us to discuss the details further.
Our organization or school already has VR headsets, can we just use those?
● Yes: If you want to purchase our application and license it each year, we can arrange for your school or organization to gain access to our application in coordination with your IT department.
● No: If you choose the loaner program, you cannot use your own VR headsets.
Do you offer private events where you facilitate tours?
Yes, we do! We have hosted multiple private events for groups that have initiatives for students fraternities, sororities, faith-based organizations, and in-house events with at least 10 students.
Can parents tour too?
Yes, they can! In fact, we encourage schools and organizations to create parent engagement nights around their college tour events, allowing parents to tour some of the same schools as their students. This model fosters valuable kitchen table conversations.

How many VRs do you bring when doing an in-school field trip?
We typically bring 25-30 college VR headsets for each field trip. With 6 sessions, we can service anywhere from 150 to 180 students per day, totaling 750 to 900 students per week. This usually accommodates one grade level at medium to larger schools. Accommodations can always be made to ensure a successful college tour event.
